«Somersault» was the other nude series that emerged from my sessions with Laurent. I remembered seeing the Muybridge photos in history books I had and thought it funny to order five of my photos with Laurent in such a way that it suggested a somersault. Naturally Laurent was posing absolutely still as possible for me which I asked all my models to do as it was the only way to control the wineglass optics.
