With my color abstractions made entirely in my home using mylar, I can’t tell stories about the models who worked with me or circumstances of each shot. I have written about the techniques I used for the Blue Prince elsewhere. At the same time I am reluctant to get into an exegesis of what I see in the pictures. Although this is also true of all my photos, I think “abstract” images rely even more on the viewer to create his or her own story out of them.
