Lotta was one of the first of my models that I became close friends with after taking her picture. This is one of several that came out beautifully. It may even be the first one in which I used some Mylar in the shot. She later told me that I reminded her of a Scandinavian mythological herrmit called a Snus Mumrick. She was a talented artist and drew one for me and another of me with my camera talking to birds and other small creatures in the woods. I have treasured both drawings and still have them today.
