I began taking these wineglass pictures when I was taking my first Photography classes at City College of San Francisco. I told one of my teachers (Janice) about what I was doing and she took an interest, inviting me to bring my camera to class to show the other students. It was a documentary photography class but many students were also familiar with large format photography, which is the kind of camera I was using. While I took this image of one of the students (Maggie), Janice shot an image of me doing it. You can view this in a log entry here. It is the only photo of me working like this! I thank her again for that!
