Steve was another friend who overcame his shyness about modeling in the nude for me. As he was a good friend I knew I could always try to coax him when my model hunt wasn’t working out. I had him pose on crumpled mylar and was surprised by this one in particular and its dominant magenta hues. I thought of it as photographic color as opposed to painting color.
